Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 September 2026

This policy explains what personal information Sauly Events Ltd collects about you, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it.It applies to this website, to Country on the Castle, and to all other events we organise or operate.

1. Who We Are

Sauly Events Ltd is the data controller responsible for your personal information.

If you have any question about this policy or about how we handle your information, please contact us using the details above.

2. Information We Collect

When you buy a ticket

Tickets are sold through our ticketing partner, Skiddle. You buy from them directly and they operate their own privacy policy, which we would encourage you to read. They pass us the information we need to run the event — typically your name, email address, the ticket type you bought and your order reference. We do not receive or store your card details at any point.

When you contact us

If you email us or call the event day line, we keep your message or a note of the call, together with your contact details and anything you tell us, so that we can respond and keep a record of what was agreed.

When you attend an event

Health information

In some situations we handle information about your health. This happens if you apply for a carer ticket, tell us about an access requirement, ask to bring food, drink or medication onto site for a medical reason, or receive first aid at an event. We treat this information with particular care, collect only what we actually need, and share it only with those who need to know.

When you use this website

Our home page can show our Instagram feed, embedded using a third party service called Elfsight. It only loads if you agree. When it does, your browser contacts Elfsight and Instagram directly, and they will see your IP address and may set their own cookies. We do not receive any information about you from it.

If you agree to advertising cookies, this site uses the Meta Pixel, an advertising and analytics tool provided by Meta Platforms. It records that you visited the site and which pages you looked at, and allows us to measure how well our advertising is performing. It works using cookies and similar technologies, and the information it collects may be linked to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one. See section 4 below.

Every page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when it fetches them. The event page shows a map from OpenStreetMap, which receives your IP address when the map loads. Neither sets cookies for us or tells us anything about you.

3. Why We Use It, and Our Lawful Basis

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object — see section 8.

4. Cookies, the Meta Pixel and Embedded Content

When you first visit, we ask whether you agree to two optional services. Neither loads until you say yes, and saying no doesn’t stop you using any part of the site.

We remember your choice in your browser’s local storage for six months so we don’t ask on every visit. That record is strictly necessary and contains nothing but your choice.

Changing your mind: use the link at the bottom of any page. If you withdraw consent, we delete Meta’s cookies from our site and stop loading the pixel. You can also adjust what Meta shows you through the advert settings in your Facebook or Instagram account.

Meta Platforms is based in the United States. Where information is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by the safeguards Meta has in place, which include the UK addendum to the standard contractual clauses approved for this purpose.

5. CCTV and Body-Worn Video

We do not operate the cameras and we do not hold the footage. CCTV and body-worn video at our events are provided by our appointed security contractor, an independent SIA-approved security company. They record, hold and are responsible for that footage under their own privacy policy and retention arrangements.

Cameras are used to keep people safe, to deter and detect crime, and to keep a fair and accurate record of what happened when there is an incident, a search, or a refusal of entry. Signage is displayed at our event sites. Body-worn cameras are not recording continuously; operatives activate them at the point an incident, search or refusal begins.

We do not hold this footage and do not have routine access to it. We may be shown footage by our security contractor where it is relevant to an incident we are dealing with, or where we are asked to assist the police or the local authority.

If you would like a copy of footage of yourself, or you have a concern about how it has been handled, contact us at events@saulyevents.co.uk and we will pass your request to our security contractor, who will deal with it directly. Please get in touch as soon as possible, since footage is deleted on a short cycle. It helps if you can tell us the date, the approximate time, the location on site, and what you were wearing.
